Materials — Browse by Metal Family
Thirteen material families from carbon steel to tantalum. Each family keeps all of its grades on one page — with UNS and EN equivalents, indicative chemical composition and mechanical properties, available product forms, applicable standards and the questions buyers actually ask.
Choose Your Material
The catalogue is organised material-first: pick the family your project works in, compare its grades in place, then confirm the product form and quantity with the sales desk.

How to Use These Pages
- Pick the material family — from the cards above, the sidebar on any page, or the grades drawer on mobile.
- Compare grades in place — every family page lists composition, mechanical and physical data for the commonly asked grades, with UNS and EN equivalents.
- Check availability and standards — product forms offered and the ASTM/ASME/EN specifications that normally apply are listed per family.
- Run the numbers — the linked calculators give theoretical weights, dimensions and unit conversions before you enquire.
- Send the enquiry once — grade, product form, size and quantity is all the sales desk needs to quote.
Published data is indicative. Composition and property values on the family pages are nominal published ranges for comparison and selection. Purchase decisions must be made against the current specification revision and the mill test certificate for the actual lot — we supply that certification with the material.
Cannot Find Your Material?
We stock and source beyond the grades listed on each page. Send the specification, grade or standard — the sales desk will confirm availability, certification and lead time.
